How it Works

The Cloud Proxy for Kubernetes is quite simple to install and use. Administrator needs to deploy the following core parts of the application into Kubernetes using YAML files.

  • Persistent storage for Admin UI database and Traffic Reporting logs.
  • Admin UI application module.

Then administrator can use Admin UI from within the browser to configure and deploy as many instances of the Cloud Proxy as required. All settings of the proxy (web filtering, URL categorization, HTTPS decryption, proxy authentication and deep content inspection) can then be configured visually from the browser.

The following diagram illustrates typical MSP deployment with several proxies per each client.
